Visiting the National Museum of Singapore

As museums are offering free admission to PR and Singaporeans, I decided to head to National Museum of Singapore for a look. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. It was not as boring as I though it would be. You can spend hours in there exploring and listening to the history behind the items as the museum provide a tablet that offers audio commentary for the items in the History gallery, and it is quite interesting. For example, I learnt there is such a thing called the Singapore Stone. I arrived at the museum too late to completely see all the exhibit properly. If you really want to see and understand the history behind the stuff, you probably need 3-4 hours minimal. Once you are done with the History Gallery, you can explore the living gallery as well.
